About Cory Lawson

One-of-a-kind jewelry pieces using precious metals and gorgeous stones

Jewelry tells a story: about the wearer, the maker, and the life carried between them.

Primitive bone and shell adornments tell us something intimate about the people of prehistory. Flesh-and-blood humans, like us, saw these objects as special—perhaps even magical. Worn next to the skin, they moved together through love, dance, worship, work, and daily life.

I have become the maker and the storyteller. My stories are told through hammer marks, texture, precious metal, and luminous stones. I am drawn to beauty, balance, and surfaces that suggest a life fully lived. Sleek perfection tells its story once; texture keeps speaking.

My path to this work began in science, where careful observation, material understanding, and respect for process were essential. That foundation remains. It shapes how I approach metal and stone—how I test, refine, and resolve each piece—bringing discipline and intention to forms that feel ancient and intuitive.

Inspired by early makers and metalsmiths, I use modern techniques to reinterpret ancient forms. In sterling silver and 18 kt gold, with precious and semiprecious stones, my jewelry may feel like artifacts from a civilization that never quite existed.

When I work, time seems to stand still. It is peaceful, energized, and deeply focused—a state often called flow. That energy travels through my heart and hands into each piece.

May you feel the magic.
